We cannot close our eyes to this language update and ES6 will introduce some new, very interesting concepts. AngularJS 2.0 already take them into account and is targeted for the ES6 world. <br />So, for me, AngularJS 2.0 is the Angular for ES6, whereas AngularJS 1.x is the Angular for ES5.
